Patrol Division

The patrol division is backbone of the Canton Police Department. Officers perform traditional police duties and community policing responsibilities. Patrols are divided into three shifts, 8AM-4PM, 4PM-12AM and 12AM-8AM. In addition to responding to calls for service, patrol officers perform traffic enforcement, emergency medical assistance supplementary to the Canton Fire Department and various other services as community needs arise.
