On Saturday March 10, 2012 at approximately 11:00AM an individual came into police headquarters reporting that she had been the victim of a domestic assault.

Officer Kevin Albert took the inital reports and then responded with officers Rob Quirk and Brian Ronayne to an address on Sherman Street to effect an arrest of the suspect.
As officers were pulling into to the parking lot at the complex where the suspect was allegedly located, they were alerted that he had just fled in a dark colored Toyota Camry and may be heading toward Mattapan. The officers quickly fanned out to try and intercept the suspect vehicle.

Officer Quirk spotted the vehicle on Washington Street in the vicinity of Chapman Street a few moments later. When officers activated their blue lights and sirens the vehicle accelerated to high rate of speed turning right onto Pleasant Street before making a turning onto Oak Road and into a residential area. The suspect dumped his car in a driveway and fled on foot leading Officers Quirk and Albert on a lengthy foot chase. The officers briefly lost sight of the suspect in heavy brush behind an Oak Road residence, but with the help of Officer Ronayne they located him hiding in a local resident's backyard shed. He quickly taken into custody and faces a multitude of charges.
